Who Am I?

My name is Grace and I’m a new grad Product Manager (PM) at Salesforce, previously a PM Intern at Salesforce. I was a Fall ‘20 Business Analyst Co-Op at Bluewolf an IBM Company, a Fall ‘19 PM Co-Op at GE Lighting, and a Business Marketing major at Northeastern University (Class of ‘21).

Why Am I Writing this Article?

When I was recruiting, I reached out to Salesforce employees for virtual coffee chats. A couple spoke to me and I believe I would not be in my role without those insights. Ever since joining Salesforce, I’ve been approached with many requests for coffee chats but my free time has become more limited. Therefore, this guide serves to pay forward the favor that many mentors have given me by scalably providing advice on recruitment at Salesforce.

Before Applying to Salesforce…

Research Salesforce products, history, and culture.

Tip #1: Do a few Salesforce Trailheads so you can learn about how to use Salesforce’s suite of products, amongst many other things that will allow you to stand out in the interview.
